1st QuieterRail Plenary meeting at Brussels (17th – 18th November 2025)

The 1st QuieterRail Plenary was hosted on 17–18 November by UNIFE at their premises. The meeting gathered all project partners with the objective of technically reviewing the progress made after the conclusion of the project’s first year. During the meeting, each WP leader presented the progress of the different technical tasks, discussed open points with the other partners, and assessed any risks, paying special attention to potential mitigation actions. The acoustic and vibration tests performed in Lyon in July are the main accomplishments of the project so far. The data collected during these tests is an essential step toward the future validation of the models developed and the activities carried out in the project.

UNIFE, as the leader of communication and dissemination, presented the past activities and planned/organized the upcoming ones, with support from the other project partners. The final part of the meeting was dedicated to project management activities; in particular, the consortium focused on reviewing the project plan, deliverables, and milestones.

The main conclusion of the consortium after the completion of the project’s first year and at the end of the 1st plenary meeting was that the project is progressing well, with only minor issues detected. All activities are progressing as planned, and the deliverables have been submitted on time. All intermediate milestones were completed as scheduled in the Grant Agreement, and all internal reports prepared by the leaders to verify them were submitted and approved by EU-RAIL.
