QuieterRail Technical Webinar 1: Ground Vibration topics (WP5-WP6)
We are pleased to invite you to the QuieterRail Technical Webinar on Ground Vibration topics, taking place on 22 October between 10:00 and 12:30 (CET). During this virtual webinar, QuieterRail partners will present in detail the main results obtained after two years of work in relevant topics such as (WP5) numerical excitation models, soil transfer function, Track-independent vehicle indicator (TVI), Building correction factors and (WP6) Hybrid vibration prediction tool.
QuieterRail (A step change in prediction, mapping, acceptance testing and cost-effective mitigation for railway noise and vibration) is a rail research project organised within the exploratory activities of the EU-Rail programme. The main objective of the project is the introduction of a step change in predicting and mapping railway noise and vibration, in the acceptance testing of rolling stock, and in promoting cost-effective noise mitigation.
Come and join us for this virtual webinar and don’t miss out on this great opportunity not only to receive an insight on the work performed on vibration topics but also to have a direct fruitful discussion with the project partners. Agenda can be found below in related documents section.
